Meditation to let go

Original communication: 7/6/18

This was a very first communication I received from universe about how to meditate about a certain topic. I realize different people have different meditation styles so this might not be for you.

I believe this meditation could help others who might be having difficulty letting go of a past. This meditation was originally received when I was working with a woman who was having hard time letting go of her animal’s memory that passed away and was causing her other animal pain because of that.

Start the meditation by going inward. Go inside your heart center. There, you see a door. Open it.

Imagine a beautiful field with trees, grass, flowers, birds, butterflies, etc. that opens up beyond the door you just opened. Simply imagine a nature that makes you happy, calm, feel at home, etc. Nothing is wrong or right, just think of a field that is right for you.

Imagine holding a dove in your hand. It can be any color or size. Imagine it was spending some time with you and you love it very much. You are now returning it to the nature. You are sad for it to go, but you know that it is the right thing to do. This dove belongs in the nature.

Throw the dove gently into the air which flies away from you and it leaves a trail of rainbow dust like a pixy dust. It is very happy, and nature welcomes it back. It flies over you, making circles, appreciating all what you did for her. Feel your heart filled with love and happiness. Imagine yourself smiling (and you can do so physically, too, if it helps)

Stay there for a while appreciating the nature and feel the nature appreciating you for returning the dove where it belongs. It missed it, too. When ready, open the door you came in from and shut it behind you.

Know that this door will always be in your heart and whenever you want to visit this place, it is there for you. This door will appear for you whenever you want to visit, don’t worry, it will not get lost. When you visit, you may see the dove circle over you, or you may not. But you know it is there and it is happy. And this space will always fill you with love and happiness.

Get back to your body and center yourself before moving on with your life. If you find yourself smiling during the day for no reason, you know where it came from.
