Love continues to add

This morning, I was saying hi to a pair of duck at a nearby park where I walk my dog every day. There is normally one pair that resides there every year. Last year, male duck disappeared toward the end of season before they moved away and I was trying to see if it was the same female. I didn’t get an answer, but I got a very profound message from them.

They told me that when one of them pass away, their love does not go away. Their love is still with the one remaining and when they find a new suitor, it adds. It does not replace. Love is never replaced, it continues to add. When you lose your beloved ones, their love is not lost, they are not replaced, they grow as you find new love. So don’t feel bad when you lose your animals and decide to welcome new animals to your home. They will never be lost or replaced.
